For years we've heard about globalization. "We Are the World." But sometimes it seems that "we" are left out of that "We." Globalization that was supposed to bring the world together is causing more division than unity. We are always on the brink of one disaster or another: Global Financial Collapse, Global Climate Change, Global Peak Oil, Global Terror, Global Pandemic, Global This and Global That. The top-down approach of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Bank for International Settlements and numerous other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is not working.
