He is credited with significant advances in everything from optical character recognition to speech recognition technology and lots in between. But perhaps his most controversial work is in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and transhumanism. Transhumanism? Yeah, that's right. Betcha can't wait to find out what that is!
