A recent poll of over one thousand adults by Xavier University asked: "Is it harder to reach the American Dream than it was for your parents?" The results might surprise some:Harder 60%Easier 33%About the Same 6%
Even though the poll did not define what the American Dream is it is still disappointing that so many find the Dream harder to achieve today than a generation ago.

In the recent film "Up In The Air" actor George Clooney stars as a corporate hatchet man, a sort of hit man for-hire who specializes in downsizing a company's head count by slickly and detachedly playing out the same script, over and over again. Ryan Bingham, Clooney's character, has it all down to a fine art. Perhaps too much so for his own good.

In the clip below Peter Schiff comments on extending unemployment benefits for up to 99 weeks.
Says Peter, "That's creating more inflation, because the money that pays the unemployment benefits has to be printed, because we don't have it, we're running a huge deficit. Meanwhile the more money we give people to remain unemployed the longer they're going to stay unemployed. The more attractive we make it for people not to work the less likely it will be that they will go out and work."
